Interior design is personal.  We all know that.  What you may not know is that the relationship you have with your decorator or designer is not only an important one, but a close one as well.

During our initial consultation I'm going to ask you some very personal questions; everything from "How does your dinner routine work?" for a kitchen project to "Do you take showers or baths?" for a bathroom renovation. These important questions help me learn about you and your family so I can create the best space possible to suit your needs.

So let's get personal.  I'm giving you a chance to get to know me before we start!

I'm a 20-something wife and mom living in Ottawa's west end.  My husband and I have two great kids, and a big messy dog.  So I understand the challenges of designing and decorating a space that is functional, durable, and practical - and still looks good!

We live in a 70's-built house, which we're slowly renovating and re-decorating.  As much as I love new homes, it's definitely fun to rip things apart and remake them to your own tastes!

I spend my spare time playing with my kids, reading, watching movies, singing in a Gaelic choir, exploring the Ottawa Valley, writing, and repainting my home (for the 3rd time in five years!). I currently hold positions on the Communications Committee of CDECA and on the Fundraising Committee of Comunn Gaidhlig Ottawa.

My design philosophy is simple:  It's your home, so it should reflect your style, taste, wants and needs.  My job is to give you fresh ideas and help you achieve your vision!
